PEDRO (PEt Decision suppoRt tOol)

Website that explains different common privacy enhancing tools (PETs) and addresses common barriers and misconceptions people have when trying to use them.

PEDRO (PEt Decision suppoRt tOol) is an online website that people can use to understand privacy threats and potential solutions. It was created as part of a larger project aimed at understanding the barriers people face when trying to protect their privacy. The site is designed with common misconceptions, worries, and barriers in mind. It helps an average Internet citizen step through questions such as what privacy is and what they can do to preserve their privacy effectively.

The tool was created by University of Strathclyde researchers including Dr Karen Renaud.
